Ribbons, Musicals and Food

It's been a busy couple of weeks for us. Z has been progressing very well with his swimming, and has now progressed to his green ribbon! It's started raining here over the last few days, after a couple of weeks of fabulous, and unseasonal, weather. So Z and mum headed out to see a local performance of Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs at the Legion of Honor. It was Z's first musical and he had a great time! The other big, big news of the last couple of weeks is that A has started eating her first solid food. She's loving the baby cereals, though doesn't know quite what to think about pureed pears, but at least it's a better reaction than we got when she tried the formula!

Inauguration 2009

Like most people we watched the Obama Inauguration on Tuesday morning. A and Z watched too, so hopefully many years from now they will remember this important day.

Happy 2009

We were fortunate to spend several weeks in Canada over the holidays. We spent most of our time between London and Toronto. We managed to get to Niagara Falls and had a great time visiting Stephen's aunts and uncles in Southwestern Ontario, as well as Michelle's in Toronto. We were pretty much limited by the weather and had to travel between storms. We had ambitions of making it down to Cleveland, but with all the snow this time we'll have to leave that until the next visit.

Happy to be warm inside.

Chrissy Field and Presidio

Just before Christmas we had Annie Florin take some family photos. So we thought we'd share them with y'all. We had a great time at Chrissy Field, before heading across to the Presidio.
